Judge Lynn Marie Johnson
Lynn Marie Johnson believes the role of a judge is to know the law, be fair and impartial to all parties before them, strictly interpret the law as written, never legislate from the bench, and keep us safe – and she has the record to prove it, first as Justice of the Peace Precinct 4 and now as County Court at Law Judge.

She was elected as the Parker County Court at Law 2 Judge in November of 2016.

As Justice of the Peace, Johnson resolved over 20,000 criminal and civil cases and increased court productivity by 30%.

Johnson is recognized by her peers as a Top Attorney, she co-founded Parker County Teen Court, is a member of the Parker County Bar Association and Tarrant County Bar Association, and has gained the trust and admiration of her piers throughout her 30-year legal career.

She is a member of East Parker County Chamber, PTO, Weatherford Rotary, and Women's Business Alliance.

Johnson has also served as an officer or board member of Aledo Children’s Advocats, Bush Legacy Republican Women, Project Celebration, Shattered Dreams, and Athletic Boosters.

Johnson and her husband have four children, Kendall (21), Kallyn (19), Cameron (16), and Cheney (14) who are all 5th generation Parker County residents


CCL No. 2 has unlimited concurrent civil and criminal  jurisdiction with  the 43rd and 415th District Courts, excepting felonies. By local rule, CCL No. 2 hears all contested probate matters arising in Parker County.

Cases assigned to County Court at Law No. 2 will have their subsequent documents filed with the county clerk at her intake office located on the first floor of the main courthouse:

Due to the high volume of cases and other factors, the court docket is in a continuous state of change. The court docket shown is a general docket and should not be relied upon for court appearances.


Criminal Cases

The court coordinator responsible for the criminal docket in CCL No. 2. She is your contact for information related to criminal cases pending in CCL No. 2. She can help you with matters relating to docket settings, bond issues, vacation letters, applications to become a court-appointed attorney, case dispositions and other issues related to criminal cases.  She is also the contact for administrative issues regarding CCL2.

Civil Cases

Robin Girard is the assistant court coordinator and is responsible for the civil docket in CCL No.2. She is your contact for information related to civil cases pending in CCL No. 2. She can help you with matters relating to docket settings, hearing cancellations, civil hearing continuances and other issues related to civil cases.

Court Reporter
Julie Booth is the official court reporter in CCL No. 2. The court reporter is your contact for information related to purchase of official transcripts and for copies of exhibits entered into evidence.

Ken Shown is the court bailiff in CCL No. 2. The court is responsible for courtroom security. Mike is your contact for information related to the court’s video and audio equipment. Upon request, he will arrange an appointment to demonstrate, and for you to familiarize yourself with, the video and audio equipment. Mike will also be the person to contact for information pertaining to jail runs.

Dress Code
Dress Code / Courtroom Guidelines will be enforced at all times.  
  • Men: Collared shirt with buttons, tucked in; long pants (no shorts), no baggy pants or pants with holes in them. 
  • Women: Sleeved shirts or blouses covering shoulders and mid-section; long or capri-style pants; and knee-length dresses (no spaghetti straps or see-through material); long or capri style pants (no shorts).  Absolutely no facial jewelry; i.e., rings in the tongue, lips, nose or eyes.  Hats are to be removed.
  • Courtroom Guidelines: No children are allowed in the courtroom (with the exception of adoptions). Cell phones must be turned off or silenced at all times.

Parking & Public Access
For security reasons, the Parker County Courthouse can be accessed by the public only  through the door on the west side of the building. All other doors are locked to the public.

The Parker County Courthouse is fully handicap accessible. The handicap entrance is located on the west side of the building. Once inside the building, an elevator provides access to the various floors.

Free parking is provided in the four quadrants surrounding the Parker County Courthouse. On the days when jury trials are held, parking can be limited.
