As of December 16, 2015 PARKER COUNTY has been accepted successful
by Texas Secretary of State for Countywide Polling Places,
 Commissioners Court accepted to have every election Countywide on December 28, 2015.

General Election Information



One of the most important functions of county government is to oversee the electoral process. The Elections Department is responsible for conducting: 

    •All elections at the federal, state, and county levels 
    •Certain other elections that contract with Parker County for election services 
    •Voter registration

Voter ID Information
As a result of the passing of the Senate Bill 14, voters are now required to present an approved form of photo identification in order to vote in all Texas Elections starting June 29, 2013.

Here is a list of acceptable forms of photo ID: 

    *Texas driver license issued by the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) 
    *Texas Election Identification card issued by DPS 
    *Texas personal identification card issued by DPS 
    *Texas handgun license issued by DPS 
    *United States military identification card containing the person's photograph 
    *United States citizenship certificate containing the person's photograph 
    *United States passport/passport card
*DOD Civil Retiree Cards
*DOD Common Access Card "CAC" 
*Verteran Affairs ID Card
*US Certificate of Naturalization
*US Certificate of Citizenship



If you do not have one of these forms, you may get an Election Identification Card (this can be obtained from DPS).
