SUMMARY OF COMMISSIONERS COURT MEETING - MAY 9, 2016

• Commissioners Court approved a new Adopt A County Road section by the Coss Family, beginning at Murray Road from 51 to 1051 Carter Road for 2 years in Precinct 2.

• Commissioners Court approved a new Adopt A County Road section by the Marbut Family, beginning on Old Millsap Road starting at Fox and Old Millsap Roads to the intersection Highway 180 for 2 years in Precinct 3.

• Accepted the Oath for the County Auditor into the Minutes.

• Approved allocating $48,900 of Transportation Bond money for legal services and right of way agents pertaining to parcels 12 and 23 and relocation costs to parcels 12, 22 and 23 for the East loop Interchange after discussions in Executive Session.

• Approved all plats.

• Heard monthly report for the traffic counter at the Ric Williamson Memorial Highway and I-20 interchange. The average monthly volume for April was 10,490 vehicles per day, an increase of 1.7% from the previous month’s average of 10,311 vehicles per day.

• Authorized the County Judge to sign tax resale deed.

• Renewed bid for new and used Steel I Beams and Piling.

• Authorized Purchasing Agent to advertise for railroad cars used for culverts.

• Heard report from a potential planning consultant for Parker County Buildings.

• Heard update from Upper Trinity GCD General Manager Doug Shaw.
