SUMMARY OF COMMISSIONERS COURT MEETING - APRIL 11, 2016

• County Judge Mark Riley told the court the expected saving from refinancing a bond issuance will total $7.6 million over the life of the bond and $424,000 in annual savings. In addition, the county’s bond rating was published showing it to remain at an AA rating.

• Approved proclamation honoring Vietnam Veterans for 50th Anniversary of the Vietnam Conflict.

• Approved a resolution creating the North Central Texas Regional 9-1-1 Emergency Communications District.

• Authorized the moving of radio tower equipment from a tower damaged in March 7, 2016 tornado to a new tower site in Cool.

• Authorized a cell phone allowance for Permitting Inspector.

• Authorized County Judge to execute the supplement to RFP PC 15-04 Copiers and Multifunctional Devices contract with Documation, Inc.

• Authorized County Judge to sign Amendment 5 for the United HealthCare Insurance Company Stop Loss agreement.

• Declared all used oil, scrap metal surplus and for sale for recycle or scrap for Pct 4.

• Approved a Memorandum of Understanding between Parker County and all ESD’s for access to fire dispatch CAD.

• Approved a Memorandum of Understanding between Parker County and the Doss Heritage Center for the use of county/inmate labor to build a display case for a commemorative Parker County rifle.

• Executed the Texas Facilities Commission Federal Surplus Program application.

• Heard Freese and Nichols traffic study.

• Approved appraisals for ROW of Parcel 1, 2 and 3 of the Spring Creek Bridge Project.

• Approved all plats.

• Approved all consent items.
